The storm is having little impact here in Ka'anapali on the west side of the island, but there is flooding up-country & 2,000 customers have lost power. Yesterday our snorkeling trip was canceled due to unsafe conditions/rough seas so I took a break from reading & we drove over to Mama's Fish House, a Maui landmark since 1973, for a decadent lunch & cocktails. 🍹🍽 Matthew had a Scorpion which includes 4 kinds of rum. Good thing this Mama was driving! 😎 #Vacation2018 #Maui

Hawaii's monthly air raid siren test just completed a few minutes ago. Yes, it was loud . . . but I would have slept through it. At least I HOPE it was a test. This happened last time I was here. 😳 #Maui #Vacation2018🛫🌴 #I❤Hawaii
