pickThis was a beautiful novel about the strained relationship between two sisters during WWII. Going back & forth between their childhood/adolescent memories to their current time of the 1940‘s. You also see the perspectives of two of their close friends & how their lives brought them to their place in the sisters lives. Parts will break your heart & others will have you smiling with pride. 5 starts for me 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
