#WillofDumbledore

I‘ve always loved Harry‘s last Birthday in the series. It‘s a bubble of love and calm in the eye of a storm. Dumbledore‘s will always confused me a little though. I can‘t help but think a good luck card or something wouldn‘t have gone a miss, but I suppose he was trying to flummox the Ministry with his opaque gifts.

It was the #WillofDumbledore that Harry find and destroy the rest of the horcruxes.

#TheWorstBirthday @Linsy

The picture above shows the #WillOfDumbledore from the films, as displayed in a museum case.

I have to admit, I was a bit disappointed that Dumbledore hadn't left Harry more, given that he cared for him so much. Thinking about it now, I think Dumbledore gave Harry far more immaterial gifts, words of wisdom and support.

Linsy Love the pic! 6y
Linsy I agree. I was disappointed, but you make a great point about gifts you can‘t measure, but make a bigger impact. 6y
RadicalReader @julesG wisdom and support is of far greater value than materialistic means 6y
julesG @RadicalReader I see that now. Eleven years ago, I was of a different opinion - when I read chapter 7 of 6y
