I wrote this story for you, but when I began it I had not realized that girls grow quicker than books. As a result you are already too old for fairy tales, and by the time it is printed and bound you will be older still. But some day you will be old enough to start reading fairy tales again.

I‘m always thinking of new ways to challenge myself, especially when it comes to reading. I‘m curious about choosing books to read simply based off of their dedication or epigram. I‘m hoping to spend a week or two dedicated to doing this. I might select off of my own shelves, but I‘m curious to see what you‘ve guys got for me too. Opening the front cover and seeing this put an instant smile on my face, and made my heart feel warm. 💗
It got me thinking about how lately authors are using an epigram, rather than a specific dedication, to get a special message across, right from the first page of the book. When I see a really good epigram, I tend to immediately fall in love with the book. Anyone else like that?
