A Black Fox Running | Brian Carter

This book has a lot of writing about the surrounding nature, most of which is beautiful but I did find myself glossing over some of it near the end. A powerful story about humans and animals and how brutal those worlds can be. Who will outsmart the other? The fox (Wulfgar) or the trapper (Scoble)?

A Black Fox Running | Brian Carter
Pickpick

This was such a joy to read, sorry I missed it in my childhood but glad to have come across it now. Brian Carter writes sensitively and lovingly about the English natural world. The fox pov is so well done, you really do feel among the animals with the breeze in your fur and scents on the breeze.
I did find the hunting scenes hard going and had to skip read through those parts. However these were shortlived and didn't detract from the enjoyment.

Does anyone else love Liz Climo? Her art always makes me smile. I thought this comic in particular would speak to some Littens. 😂🎄📚#wintergames2021 #mistletoemaniacs #holidaylaughs

I have always been a fan of Liz Climo‘s comics due to her use of humor and adorable characters, and this small book was no exception. This collection was heartwarming while also managing to be hilarious as I found myself laughing for a good portion of this book. I definitely recommend!
