1. Driving, relaxing (if do too much mind drifts), following e-book
2. Audible, Kobo, Libby, Overdrive
3. Often 1.25x, depends on the narrator‘s natural speed
4. Jim Dale, Simon Vance, Carolyn McCormick, Davina Porter, Michael Praed
5. Night Circus, 11.22.63, Century Trilogy, The Help, The Light Between Oceans, The Hunger Games, The Forgotten Legion (couldn‘t choose only 1 😂)

BookishMe I still haven't figured out how to curb the drifting mind, even when I relax ;o 6y
Andrew65 @BookishMe Yes that can happen too and then need to rewind a bit. Some books work as audiobooks for me, others I definitely can‘t use for audiobooks. (edited) 6y

1. Ironing or hoovering. Used to be driving.
2. Audible. Very often along with the Kindle “whispersync” version.
3. Original pace. Changing the speed spoils the performance for me.
4. Saul Reichlin by a mile in the Scandi books I like. Titus Welliver in second place for the Michael Connelly novels.
5. The Sentinel: Vengeance of Memory - Mark Oldfield (a trilogy)
