While I did not read this today, Dr. Beverly Tatum's book was part of my curriculum in my master's program and was an adjunct to learning about different racial identity development frameworks. She presents it in an approachable and clear way, and her information is so incredibly important. This book changed the way I think about the world because I was not aware of the Tennessee Children‘s Home Society before reading this book. It is a heartbreaking story of poor children being taken from their homes in order to be adopted. This book has stuck with me since I read it and I can‘t recommend it enough! #awholenewworldchallenge #24in48 @24in48
