I was just thinking about how much my reading has changed since joining @Litsy - it's been amazing. Last year I was reading mostly from three genres, and only about four books each month. Now, my bookshelves are busting out with all kinds of wonderful genres including politics, feminism, history, and so much more! Plus, I'm averaging 10 books each month. mcipher I agree - I've read 24 books already this year, and I thought my goal of 100 was ambitious! Plus I've got so many ideas for things I would never have read before, and oddly enough I'm thinking more about LGBTQ, people if other ethnicities, just generally a sense of bugger issues in the world, thanks to Litsy. 😍 7y

Hestapleton I've seen some really similar changes! I'm reading so much more (sorry grad school), reading more diversely and in different genres, and generally caring for myself more than I did before. Litsy is the best social media out there. 7y

minkyb Totally agree. I had stopped buying books basically using the library. Trying to downsize, yada. yada. yada. Now I buy books from far flung places like book depository and folio society and listen to bookish podcasts! lol. Couldn't be happier. 7y
Lizpixie Same here as well! This time last year, my shelves were 2/3 crime & 1/3 fantasy/scifi, now I have a lot more scifi & fantasy, plus shelves of graphic novels, litfic, YA, more memoirs & autobiographies and even some romance and (gasp) a western or two. Plus all the new "cozy crime" series I'm now addicted too. And I'm now back to my best reading years, averaging between 20-25 books a month. I love all you guys! 7y
