#unpopularopinion I don‘t really like this book. I‘ve made it to chapter 6 over the last week. But it‘s my besties pick for book group tonight. However, the weather is terrible, there are tons of people without power so I‘m thinking it‘ll be a no go. Luckily I have power so far. But life‘s to short to waste it on a book I‘m not enjoying so I‘m officially #bailing

Ok I almost never do this but I think I'm #bailing on this....
I usually LOVE Zadie Smith, but I just can't get into this at all. I really wanted to love it! But I don't care about the characters, or their weird autograph fixations. I'll give it another go in a month or so (I'm so far in! But I just can't keep reading it)

Now that I read the book I hate the movie 😬 It makes Claire seem so weak, the trajectory of the movie makes absolutely no sense on its own, they change a million things, it makes Henry seem like a total dick. #bailing
