⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This is the author‘s first thriller novel. I thought she did a really fantastic job weaving a true problem of gentrification of small neighborhoods in Brooklyn and throughout the US with intense thriller themes of creepy research facility and people going missing. I loved it! I hope she continues to write more thrillers! Thank you @WilliamMorrowBooks for this fun #bookclubgirl pick

⭐️⭐️ I really did not like this book. This was mostly not a book for me since I do not like reading stories about couples fighting or parental struggles. It‘s not my type of reading. But then the ending was so incredibly cheesy that it sort of made me sick. And then there was a line on the last page of the book that was trying to reveal something but ended up making no sense. This was a #bookclubgirl book received by #HarperCollins

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This was a really well written drama with so many great reveals that were also perfectly timed throughout the story. There is a little bit of humor which I also love in a quirky drama. Having this type of story set in the ‘50s made it seem very fresh compared to somewhat similar books that take place in the present. While reading I felt like one of the nosey neighbors in Wooster. Thank you #HarperCollins for this #bookclubgirl pick
