This one was my least favorite of the three, but that‘s like your third favorite ice cream flavor. It‘s still really good and well-written and entertaining, but there were some real extra-dramatic things from the past brought up and one fight due to Magnolia being a complete nimwit that I didn‘t love. Other than that, this was another win for me, but I‘m really looking forward to getting back to Daisy Haites and seeing what she‘s been up to.
These UK covers might just be my favorite covers of all-time 🤩
This description of the “free-spirited hipster.” Lol, I love Magnolia! 😂🫶
This is a case of not for me. The writing is fine, and I see the appeal and why it is so popular. However, the brand name dropping and DRAMA is just not what I‘m in the mood for. I may give it a try at a different point, but for now #hailthebail.
Fun throwback c/o my parents‘ basement… #treasure looking forward to diving into others in the box. 📦
One of my favorite yet painful lines in this story “The problem with me and Parks is, I think we love each other more than ourselves.” This is about a very toxic relationship that you can‘t help but root for 🥹 … read at your own risk #summerreading #kindlereading #toxicrelationships
I've loved so many of Jesse Q. Sutanto's mysteries-- Dial A For Aunties and Vera Wong's Unsolicited Advice for Murderers, anyone?--so I was dissapointed when this one didn't live up to my expectations. Perfectly find YA thriller; it just didn't have the same fun writing and incredible, lovable characters I've come to enjoy in many of her books.
He grabs me, pulls me in towards him, holds me tight against him and I tell myself to remember this.
Remember how it feels. Being in here, in his arms. Remember how it feels to be folded up inside his chest, how it feels to have his arms pressed against my back, where my legs fit between his, how he ducked his chin a little so I can live under there, remember all of it because this is the last time.

This book destroyed me in the best possible way.
The last 100 or so pages of the book were insane. A lot of crazy stuff went down. At one point, I was nervous to keep reading because I was a little scared to know what was going to happen next. The book definitely ended on a massive OMG moment.
