I‘m trying to understand what Talia‘s real “gift” or powers are. I‘m underwhelmed by what she can do especially considering that she‘s the STAR of the book. 🤷🏻♀️

Leniverse It's the classical YA heroine thing, even though this was written before YA was a genre (and the series contains some adult scenes that might need trigger warnings). She's been underestimated by everyone including herself all her short life, and her Gift is a rare one, so even the Heralds don't know what to make of her at first. She'll come into her own. But it's a trilogy, so you need to be patient with the journey. 🙂 5y
