A romance with great potential and an author to watch but it could have used some editorial help. My biggest complaint would be that it switches perspectives mid-passage which was jarring and confusing. Also it is a novella but it would have been better for the added development of a full length novel. Overall though, flawed characters, enemies to lovers trope, and a great setting make this a pick. #romantsy (I ❤️ this hashtag!)

Chachic It's not on Litsy yet so I can't tag it but I thought the author's debut novel (Loveless. Childless. Clueless.) was stronger. 8y

Chachic Not that I know how Overdrive works, I just know the books can be requested. LOL we don't have good public libraries in the Philippines, and here in Singapore, I have to pay to be a member because I'm a foreigner. 8y

MarriedtoMrT @chachic I will look! I did look for this one before buying. Some books only available through Amazon in the US aren't available to libraries because Amazon won't sell to them. It's pretty disappointing. 8y
