Some of my favorite spooky reads for the Fall.
The year of the witching, dracula, and not good for maidens are a few others I really enjoy.

If it's about Erzsebet Bathory, I've probably read it or am planning to 🖤
All I can say is this is quite a twist from the original story of Dracula. If you‘re a fan of Bram Stoker, you really need to read this book.
London, 1912. A quarter of a century after Count Dracula “crumbled into dust,” Quincey Harker—the son of Jonathan and Mina Harker—leaves law school to pursue a career on stage, only to stumble upon the troubled production of Dracula, directed and produced by Bram Stoker himself. As the play plunges Quincey into the world of his parents' terrible secrets, death begins to stalk the original band of heroes that defeated Dracula a quarter-century ago.
This was such a dark and sad read! Like it truly made my heart feel so sad and that's a first when reading about The Countess Bathory. The way she could not feel she could trust anyone around here and had so much responsibility. The way she's depicted in this story is a bit different, less gore and more punishment at her hands.
3rd book about Countess Erzsébet Bathory's life I've read about! I'm very intrigued about the stories pertaining to her and what people believe to be truth or rumor.
This version of Erzebet Bathory was told from her point of view from early childhood till her imprisonment locked in her chamber. There is no way of knowing her true story but this book had a new idea brought to life that was intriguing to read about.
✨️No one ever understands the evil queen within us all. They deny her existence, but that doesn't mean she isn't there.✨️
Feeling like I have some kind of cold so gonna relax most of the day and read! Happy Friday everyone.
🤧❤📖☕️🌥
Bought this Used and threw the dust jacket out because it just seemed cooler to have a Gothic book on my shelf with this beautiful lettering! Last Read for March and my second Erzsébet Báthory read! I've also ordred a 3rd book about her coming in the mail. ❤🕯🗡🪞
