pickThis! Book! Damn, it was everything & more. Written in verse it brings to life the Latina character I‘ve been craving. Still not the Mexican America voice I feel I need in a YA book but oh so close! The poetry was powerful with a powerful story to tell & the light it shines on the world of Poetry Slams is perfect. The poetry, the story, & the strong, kick ass character that is Xiomara, The Poet X, makes this a definite #favoritetread2018
