The Secret Garden of Harlem could be another name for this book. The Vanderbeekers have such a wonderfully fierce determination to make the world a little brighter, a little more beautiful, for everyone around them. I may have to binge-read the rest of this series at some point. 🔸#februaryreads2021

This ebook has been sitting on my virtual shelf for a while, and it turned out to be the perfect balm that I didn‘t know I needed last month. The Vanderbeekers are easy to fall in love with and so much fun! 🔸#februaryreads2021

Thank you @eyelit for recommending this book. I found it really helpful and hopeful—a sensitive guide for family members and friends who want to support their loved ones with cancer but aren‘t sure what to say or do. 🔸#februaryreads2021

This may be my favorite Rob Bell book so far—it just makes so much more space for a spirituality that is all-encompassing and all-inclusive. We are all spiritual beings having a human experience. 🔸#februaryreads2021

Here are my February reads! I apparently decided to start Lent early with a couple of books on spirituality and faith. Since a close family member was recently diagnosed with cancer, I also wanted to read something that would help me be supportive to them. And after the stressful Texas winter storms, I was really craving some happy, achingly heartwarming stories, so I met the Vanderbeekers and fell in love with the whole family. #februaryreads2021
