These were cute comics. I felt I just didn‘t get as much out of them as the description implied I would. I only really felt connected to one of them and had already seen almost everything in there before. Good, just not quite what I wanted. 3⭐️

This book is delightful and funny. The drawings are fabulous. I‘d love to hang this one on my wall. It screams happy. ❤️❤️❤️
I read as a library ebook. Then ordered book book copies for my niece, a friend, and me. 😍
@TheLudicReader Thank you Christie for thinking of me on my birthday! I‘ll enjoy these cartoons again and again, and the bookmarks are lovely. 💕
February 26 #Ithadtobeyou Book Love ❤ This book is made for tea-sipping, spine-sniffing, book hoarding bibliophile. I can relate as I have done all three lol @Eggs @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks
Such a cute graphic novel! Perfect for all bookworms! Read for #ReadYourBookshelfChallenge2022 5/5
Summarizing these captivating books that I read at the end of 2021 is a challenge, but here goes!🔸#decemberreads2021
As a book lover, I love this book. I laughed so many times as I saw myself as the main character. There isn't a plot, but rather a description of what it means to love books. Absolutely adore and recommend for anyone that reads.
Enjoyed this 🥰
#WishesAndBlessings Day 31: Let‘s #celebrate all the books we have not read in 2021! Here‘s to reading them ALL in 2022!!!! (As if).
In November, I still felt like I needed more grief support, so my reads were pretty heavy. But I highly recommend them all, if and when you need to process grief in good, compassionate company.🔸#novemberreads2021
I found Halloween strangely comforting this year, arriving as it did right after the passing of a dear friend. Most of my reads were ghost stories that helped me start facing my grief.🔸#octoberreads2021
#224 Been meaning to read this graphic novel for a couple of years, and was finally able to borrow it from Overdrive. After reading, I immediately purchased my own copy! Such a cute book, and I‘m certain every litten can relate. The drawings were all black and white but were cute; it‘s the amusing content that really hit home! 5⭐️ just for peeking into my life! #2021
Holy cats, I actually read ten books in September!! 🙀 Call it stress-reading. I‘ll just talk about eight of them. (And yes I know it‘s almost the end of October already. It‘s been a 😵💫month, I‘ll just say that, so better late than never!)🔸#septemberreads2021
I ended up devouring nine books in August! This is what happens when I find myself needing more rest while dealing with stress and recovering from a flare of my chronic illness. Since I can‘t eat much during a flare, I get hungrier than ever for words.🔸#augustreads2021
When I‘m in the thick of my own real-life drama, my book picks tend to yo-yo back and forth between light-hearted and melodramatic. I read both ends of the spectrum in July. What do you like to read when you need to escape from the stresses of your life?🔸#julyreads2021
It‘s been a hectic summer, so I‘m in catch-up mode. In June I read six books, but I‘ll just mention four of them here: a couple of inspirational nonfiction titles and a favorite trilogy I started re-reading for my book club‘s July re-read theme. Choosing just a few titles was tough, as there are always at least a dozen books I want to re-read at any point in time. Which books have been on your re-read list for a while? 🔸#junereads2021
Quite a potpourri of titles this past month! Sometimes I like to mix it up. 🙂 #aprilreads2021
The common thread of all my reads in March seems to be perseverance and growth in times of struggle—which you could say is another way to describe life. #marchreads2021
Here are my February reads! I apparently decided to start Lent early with a couple of books on spirituality and faith. Since a close family member was recently diagnosed with cancer, I also wanted to read something that would help me be supportive to them. And after the stressful Texas winter storms, I was really craving some happy, achingly heartwarming stories, so I met the Vanderbeekers and fell in love with the whole family. #februaryreads2021
Trying a new twist this year on sharing my favorite reads. I love writing book reviews but am finding less time these days, so I‘m retiring my Book Review Roundup (at least for now) and instead I will be posting Monthly Reads, sharing my favorite titles each month with minimal comment. Here goes! Starting with January because I want to catch up. (Note: [at]alysonimagines is my Instagram handle.) #monthlyreads2021 #januaryreads2021
Not only do the staff at the local branch recognize me and my daughter, know our names - one of them puts aside books he thinks kiddo will enjoy! - they know my car now, and apparently recognize my voice when I call for curbside pickup. I think we might be their most frequent flyer these days.
Thank you @MittenGirlPeach for my lovely gifts in the #BookCupidSwap
I love everything. The book is something I know I'll read over and over. 😊 The truffles will probably go with me to work because sometimes I need chocolate at work! And I ADORE the tea light holder! And the tea light you put in there smells lovely. Thank you so much! And thanks @candority for putting this swap together!
Yaaaaas! I have been wanting this book for so long! As soon as I opened this I read it all the way through and I LOVED IT! Thanks @magyklyXdelish it's the perfect gift for #BookCupidSwap. 😘

Mahalo for the tag @BookishMarginalia 🤗Being a Libra my usual this or that answer is BOTH!🤷🏻♀️
1️⃣ I lean Hardback, esp books I want to keep
2️⃣ With-usually🍵or☕️
3️⃣ Both + audiobooks-depends on the book
4️⃣ Moody reader here & books for reviews/read-alongs get in the way of my TBR
5️⃣ Both but I end up with more fiction
6️⃣ Depends on my mood-I like different genres
7️⃣ Both! I have more time at night but😴
Has anyone not played yet? 😄
📚100%hardback lover!😍 unless book comes only in paperback or when cover is prettier in paperback.
