Fresh out of the oven, and it smells amazing: Auf den Kopf von Apfelkuchen. Upside down apple cake.
I tweaked the recipe a little, using less sugar, a tad bit more cinnamon, and switched to Granny Smith apples. Recipe is from the same baker who created the upside down rhubarb cake that we made the other week.

A charming fall/winter enemies to lovers holiday romance. I enjoyed the characters and how they worked through their respective trauma. I re-found this Hanukkah audio novella series this year & really enjoyed listening to them in the holiday bustle of running errands & doing tasks. Is it my all-time #FaveHolidayBk ? No, but if you like quick, rom-coms with a fun friend group set in NYC during the holidays, they are a good listen! ❄️💙❄️
