pickI love graphic novel memoirs, and this one was fantastic. Robin‘s single mother moves her from Korea to Alabama at the age of 14, completely upending her life. As Robin struggles to learn English and make friends she starts to appreciate her strong mother, and becomes a youth of two cultures.

Good story for gradeschoolers, even though the layout and pics are just okay.
