Texreader I do wish this book was around when my daughter was little. She was born with a birth defect and went completely dead in her left ear at about 4. It probably would have helped me and her understand what was happening better. I would spontaneously cry often about it. 16 years later we are much better but she had some tough times growing up mostly because of it. 1y
