Since this is a more recent collection of all kinds of translated texts of Thórbergur Thordarson, I had to compare the current English translation with the first one of “In Search of my Beloved” from 1967. pickNice day in the sun - with a good book. As I expected the English translation of one of my favourite books is a good as ther German one. Unfortunately only the part concerning Thordarson‘s love interest was translated, not the whole book. Knowing where cut-outs were and what should be there instead, one or two chapters changed their content a bit.
