If anyone is interested in a totally unique and fun genderbent Wizard of Oz retelling then this is for you. I just finished Theodore Gale in Oz and really liked it. ReadingRover @LibrarianRyan Yes! She‘s the scarecrow. The characters are all gender swapped and the whole story is tweaked so it‘s not a straight retelling which is why I liked it. It‘s not the best thing I‘ve read but it‘s a fun guilty pleasure kind of read. Kind of outrageous but it ends up working. @JenlovesJT47 just a heads up there‘s a bunch of sex thrown in so be forewarned. It‘s not an erotic novel but it‘s there. ReadingRover But in this one the main character is a Kansas cowboy 🤠 playboy so he basically gets a hard on for all the girls. 😆 the more I‘m explaining it the more ridiculous it sounds but it‘s a fun book. Though I do prefer the wonderland one I listened to over this one. It was more character driven. 5y
