#Library30 catch up Day 4- Shelfie. Our New Fiction shelves are face out which is honestly so great. As a Black woman, sometimes cover design with someone who looks like me is what catches my eye. #Library30 catch up Day 2- My work space. This is my desk: it is in shambles. Pile of books that need to be reviewed for damage and I can determine if I want to weed (take out of the collection) them and/or buy a new copy. #Library30 catch up lol Day 1- My Library. Oak Lawn Public Library in Oak Lawn, IL is where I work as a Library Associate for Adult Fiction. Months away from finishing my MS/LIS so I‘ll have a new library home soon 🤞🏽

But this is just one library I work at! I intern for another library and when I need to go to a library near my home (in Chicago) I go to my alma mater DePaul University. My Chicago Branch is closes for renovations! #NLW19

Day Five #Library30 : #FavoriteBook

If you‘ve followed me long enough, it should come as no surprise that this is my favorite book. I‘m a Janeite and am obsessed with all things Jane Austen.

But, it‘s also hard to pick just one favorite book. This is one I‘ve reread countless times, but there are so many others that have impacted my life so much that I bore people to tears talking about them (non-Littens, Of course!).
