Eggs @kaye @RadicalReader It is quite pleasant with lots of natural light and a real "community" feel. But I still cherish the old Carnegie library that was "my place" growing up 5y

#Riotgrams #day2 #LocalBookstoreOrLibrary I‘ve posted my local library a few times & the nearest bookstores aren‘t independents. So I thought I‘d showcase our State Library Of NSW. Also known as the Mitchell Library, opening in 1826, it‘s the oldest library in Australia. It has over 5million items including a large research section, newspaper archives & original logbooks of the First Fleet & journals from James Cook & William Bligh‘s Bounty.
