4.7⭐️ I loved this book. Mafia romance/boxer romance that was super spicy. It was an amazing combination. Definitely recommend but as always check your trigger warnings.
So Bourdain‘s fiction is straight mid except for his short story collection (tagged below) that I read last month and gave 4.25⭐️. That said, if you‘re a big fan (or a completist 🙋🏻♀️), it‘s worth a read. There are fun Easter eggs of places he discusses in his later memoirs. It is so strange that he always has to write himself into books even if it makes little sense to the plot. (A junkie chef in this one.) There were long scenes ⬇️
Fairly tame “dark” romance with kidnapping, mafia, breeding kink. There‘s torture possessiveness murder but it isn‘t hardcore. Like I cannot read a lot of dark romance or horror so I guess this could be gateway into the genre if you want to explore. 1st of series so I‘ve read it again & again to refresh myself on new releases. Wanting alternative covers for all books but authors haven‘t released them for books 4 onward

Book four in the series. Loved them all. I especially enjoyed reading this one about Spider. I wonder if there will be a fifth book. I would like to know more about Kieran. Steamy, great plots, fabulous characters, highly recommend this series. While you can read them out of order, to fully enjoy start with book one. 4.5⭐️
