For a “non-zombie” person, my last finished book of the year was an other zombie book that I enjoyed. 🤷🏻♀️ #audiobook #morebookslessbullshit2019

After reading our two repeat Christmas books with time to spare (first time!), we were able to try a new one. Cute read for kids. They all liked it and asked that we add it to the “tradition” list. We‘ll definitely at least read the sequel next year too. #MordecaiReads #morebookslessbullshit2019
One of my few Christmas traditions. Complaints from the kids at first, but now the eldest has requested “more books by that guy with the ghosts” 🙌🏻 (“that I can do!” says the same mom who wrote her senior paper on Dickens). #MordecaiReads #morebookslessbullshit2019
A bit of a sophomore slump. I loved Blood and Bone, but the passing wasn‘t quite as good this time around. A little too much waffling and “we‘re going to make it! ...no we‘re not” and trust, lie, trust, lie, etc. Will definitely still recommend and read the next, but a tad disappointed. #morebookslessbullshit2019
The HBO series is sooo good and motivated me to finally read the series. #morebookslessbullshit2019
Re-reading this before the reading the sequel (which I started then decided to wait until I read the Dark Materials series, which I somehow never read despite then sitting on my shelves for years and being a fantasy reader for always). #morebookslessbullshit2019
Another “not my normal thing”. Good, but not as good I remember it being waved about a few years back. #audiobook #morebookslessbullshit2019
On paper I should not have liked this book. I was describing it to my partner and he was a bit shocked by it—alternative history AND zombies?! (I really don‘t like zombies) but I loved this book— the zombies were very incidental in a mostly character driven book. Bahni Turpin‘s narration only adds to it. Super excited for the sequel this year. #audiobook #morebookslessbullshit2019
I like dirt. Was it the most scientific and informative book out there, no. But it was a good interesting listen. #audiobook #morebookslessbullshit2019
