panNo no no no no... While most people in the world read this in school, I did not. I read it here and now, of my own volition, because it's a classic and I'm an English major and I had to. I pretty much hated this book. I wanted to DNF it so bad. I understand why it's taught in school, but wow, I do not like Hawthorne. No thanks, never again ✌️At least I can say I read it!
