Love the message and it's given me plenty to chew on, but the writing was at times trite and repetitive. Would have worked better as a sermon series. Took me months to finish because I couldn't get thru more than two chapters at a time. ???.5

Well, that's laying it on a bit thick, isn't it, Harry? Both Harry and Slughorn take advantage of opportunities in this chapter. Harry's goal of getting the much-needed memory is more noble than Slughorn jumping at the chance to collect valuable commodities he can later sell to feed his crystallized pineapple habit--but they both take advantage of others in order to take advantage of #opportunity. #hpchapteraday 👇

I loved seeing Harry have some success, but it does take some serious magic to make it happen. Poor Harry, he needs so much help to get this done. Slughorn never really redeems himself in my eyes. Even now, he benefits.
