kspenmoll I noticed you are reading Ron Chernow‘s book on Washington. Did you see/hear Chernow‘s speech at the White House Correspondence dinner last night? It was insightful, humorous, wide view of our history, presidents & their relationship with news reporters/papers- reminder that history, news, politics,truth, are essential to us all. My family watched it twice. Not sure if it‘s on the internet, so worth listening to. (edited) 5y
SharonGoforth @kspenmoll I saw an article about it on the internet, but haven‘t had a chance to watch it yet (family is here from out of town). I‘m hoping to watch it soon! The book is excellent! I also have his biogs on Hamilton and Grant to read! 5y
