A small collection of poems of what it means to be an immigrant, a foreigner, and an unwanted, unfamiliar creature in a place that loathes what they don‘t understand. #Poems of being a girl, oppressed by her very gender. Words that weave together emotions of love, ache, loss, & growth. It was sensationally lovely. I‘ve never read poems that have mirrored my own emotions & experiences so intimately before. 🖤🖤
