pickI can't remember a book that scared me as much as Coraline did. I think it's the first dark fantasy/horror story I've read, and I love it for everything that it is—weird, eerie, and frightening. Its rich and unnerving imagery combined with Coraline's bravery and quick thinking in the face of evil made this book extremely difficult to put down, even at 1AM in the morning. I probably would've died if I had been in her place. #fiction #readling
