pickI wouldn‘t be comfortable recommending this YA to my middle schoolers due to certain content, but I personally found it gripping and it had a unique story line. A great summer porch read! #summereading2018
TheFunkyBookworm My media specialist bought this one for my 8th grade classroom and I‘m reading it now! Still early on so it seems alright but I‘ll be bummed if I can‘t have my kiddos read it! 😫 6y
elyseh I liked it a lot! I would let my 11 year old read it. I didn't think it was to bad. Yes strong subject matter but nothing they dont get from TV or games. 6y
Bookworm83 @TheFunkyBookworm @elyseh I‘m pretty cautious with what I recommend to my students and what I put in my classroom library but I always encourage parents to make the final determination on what their kids read 😉 I was reading books written for adults when I was in middle school 😋 (edited) 6y
