I haven‘t gotten used to AZ time, so I keep waking up here really early. And going to bed early. Which is good because I wanted to do a yoga outdoors class and was there at 6:30 am. The view was amazing, and the desert is so peaceful. With the vortexes and desert, I see why yoga is so popular in Sedona.
I‘ve been busy this week but only got enough active min on 3 days instead of 4 for #BFCr2 goals. Still reading my 1st book. @wanderinglynn

wanderinglynn Here‘s how I‘d rephrase the sentence “but only got enough active minutes...”: I made my active minutes on 3 days! (with the exclamation mark). Your goal may be 4 days, but making 3 days is awesome! Be proud of that! 🙌🏻 And you can work to reach 4 days in week 2 or week 3 or week 4. But definitely celebrate what you did accomplish because you didn‘t quit and you‘ve kept moving forward making progress. 😀 5y
Scochrane26 @wanderinglynn thanks for the pep talk! I‘m not feeling bad about my activity because I cleaned house & did other activities that just didn‘t show up on Fitbit. Even with a lot of driving and a day of planes, I still have more activity than usual this week. (edited) 5y
wanderinglynn You did great! And I'm glad you're not feeling bad because you had an awesome week. And that's what I want to celebrate. We (women in particular) tend to use language that diminishes our accomplishments (ex. “I *only* did X“) because we often feel we *should have* done more. It's always good to push yourself to go further. But it's also good to celebrate our awesome accomplishments and use positive language to do so. 😀 #thepowerofpositivity 5y
