I start vacation July 26. I have approximately a month off, give or take a few days. So off to the library I went today! Had to literally stop myself & put some books back on the shelves. Could this be why my TBR piles seem to stay the same?! @Andrew65 Thanks for introducing me to the Nicci French series! Some of the other books are Litten recommendations too! Thanks all!

I got my books today y‘all! I only picked up 2 extra books that I had not placed on hold, that was an improvement. Can‘t wait to dive into the tagged book. I love the cover! Lcsmcat I loved Bless Me Ultima. I didn‘t think Zorro was Allende‘s best, but you might think differently. Those are the only ones I‘ve read from your stack. 6y

Peddler410 Just curious....do you like to own your books in hard cover, paperback, or doesn‘t matter? For me....it sometimes depends on cover art 😊 6y

TheBookAddict @Peddler410 it really does depend on the cover art and if it‘s a favorite. I believe I own more paperbacks than hardcovers, but it‘s because they are less expensive. My HP collection is all hardcover because it‘s favorite and this series is a favorite too, so I feel like it‘s worth the extra money since I‘ll probably read them more often. 6y

TheBookAddict @Lcsmcat Bless Me, Ultima is one that I hadn‘t heard about until I watched the 1st episode of The Great American Read and I just couldn‘t resist getting it. A couple of years ago I read my first book by Allende and since then I‘ve been on a mission to read all of her books. I‘ve been reading 1 or 2 per year. I‘ll let you know how it goes. 🙂 6y
