While I was on Leyland for a dental appointment, I popped into the library & came away with a graphic novel #LibraryHaul 📚
Becoming Unbecoming is a memoir about abuse, misogyny and victim blaming in the '70s, set against the incompetent police hunt for the Yorkshire Ripper. Sounds heavy.
To lighten up, I've the 2nd volume of a Star Trek series set in the final year of the NCC-1701's original mission. I haven't read the beginning of the story ⬇️
My youngest‘s, now in middle school, first school library haul: One Piece vol 1-4. For those who remember, he was 2 when I joined Litsy. He‘s now 11, and taller than me. 😭 My oldest is now in 8th grade. I‘m living in a time warp!

I keep telling myself that I‘m going to limit the number of books I take out of the library so I can read the ones I already own. Then I go in to pick up a hold (in this case, the tagged book) and they have all these tempting displays… #libraryhaul

Ran to Walmart this morning. Even though I have 3 bookcases of books, I stopped by the library on my why home. It's a hopeless situation for me, I just love to read and books so much😂 I know my Litsy friends understand!

I've been having an urge recently to spend money because if I buy something that will solve all my problems!
I had to go to a different part of the county today and hit up two libraries. I did not think about it at all and was lugging these books around in 30° heat 🥵
