My #libraryhaul of this afternoon. The tagged book is by the author of the Ruth Galloway series, which I have heard great things about. But the premise of this series sounds like fun.

Sace Oh wow! That *does* sound good! I'm off to see if any of my libraries has it. 2d
janeycanuck I really enjoyed the Zig Zag Girl. Hope you do, too! 2d
AlaMich @Sace She‘s already written four books in this new series. It certainly wins points for originality! 😊 2d

Bk11 in my #LibraryHaul is the first book in a new to me series. Set in Edinburgh, it starts with the discovery of a girls body, walled up in the basement of an old mansion. She had been brutally murdered, her organs removed & placed in jars sixty years ago in an attempted recreation of a ceremony to confer immortality on the men who killed her. DI McLean thinks it connects to a series of suicides & the recent murder of a businessman.

Crazeedi Is this a good series? I'm always looking for a long running series to read! 6h

Bk10 of this weeks #LibraryHaul is another #NFNov pick. This is about the actress Hedy Lamarr, who was a lot more than just a pretty face. In 1937, Hedy Kiesler is desperate for a way out of Vienna, with her Jewish heritage it‘s only a matter of time before the Nazis realise who she is. But she‘s been listening at all those parties at her husbands castle, she has a few secrets that may help her new country. Including the fact she‘s a scientist.

Jaimelire Sounds good! 2d
sarahnicoloff I love her. She was one smart, talented and beautiful woman. 2d

Bk9 of my #LibraryHaul is Bk5 of the Frey&McGrey series. Madame Katerina, McGreys trusted clairvoyant hosts a seance for 3 of Edinburgh‘s wealthiest families. The next morning everyone is found dead with Katerina the only survivor. She blames the deaths on a tormented spirit but the only one who believes her is McGrey. Of course. Frey is called to help, who, as he disbelieves everything that comes out of her mouth, finds it a difficult task.

emmaturi Oh I must try to get my hands on this! 3d

Bk8 of my #LibraryHaul is another Linwood Barclay thriller. Am I the only one who has to read the back catalogue of a new found author? This is a follow up to his first novel, No Time For Goodbye. The Archers went through an ordeal 7yrs ago which has changed them irrevocably. Now Grace, their daughter, is rebelling by dating a delinquet boy who‘s put her in danger again.

EadieB I love Linwood Barclays and have read this one too! 3d
MyNamesParadise I read no time for goodbye years ago and absolutely loved it! But sadly I can‘t remember it. 🙈 3d

Bk7 of my #LibraryHaul is Bk4 in the Frey&McGrey series. A young heir receives a sinister death threat so the unlikely partners head north to the remote & misty Loch Maree. But even before they arrive, the boys guardian is brutally murdered, someone will kill to protect the secrets of the Loch. I‘m really enjoying this series, it has a great balance of mystery & comedy with a huge dash of scottish charm.🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

ChasingOm I‘ve added this series to my TBR thanks to you! 3d
megzlynn That is beautiful! 3d

Bk6 of my #LibraryHaul is another #NFNov pick. As an Australian, I can‘t begin to understand Americans feelings towards what happened that morning. I do know how it felt for me to be watching the live video as the 2nd plane hit then as the towers fell. All those brave first responders who went in as people were running out. This is the story told by the people inside the tower, those trying to help & those struggling to survive.

vivastory A similar book, one of my favorites of the year is 3d
Cinfhen I listened to an amazing audio this year that was so comprehensive yet soooooo intimate. If you can find the audio I highly recommend 3d
