#hpchapteraday I 💜how this chapter illustrates the importance of encouragement & support in the #willtosurvive. The notes left at the cottage buoy Harry's spirits just in time for the confrontation against Nagini & Voldy. That's why it is critical for us to not hold back in encouraging actions & words. Just a few words of 💚 & support can make big differences in unexpected ways. So, my fellow Littens, I think y'all are amazing & I 💜all y'all!
A catch-up post for #hpchapteraday. At first, I didn't think I had much to say about this theme. But then I thought about the contrast between Voldemort's #willtosurvive and that of Harry & Hermione, and James & Lily. Voldemort sees survival as power--over death and over others, but James & Lily put Harry's survival above their own. Similarly, Harry & Hermione seek survival in order to defeat Voldemort and the prejudice and hatred he advocates.
Harry's #willtosurvive is so instinctive that he is always prepared to act. He needed survival skills to keep going at the Dursleys and consistently to get away from Voldemort. Seeing what actually happened that night has just reinforced his continued desire to live. #hpchapteraday @Redjewel_7734
This is the ickiest scene out of all the books and I almost lost my #willtosurvive just reading it. So good on Harry and Hermione for their resourceful desperation. I shouldn't make jokes--Harry's parents' self sacrifice is now shown in all its terrifying reality. Harry discovers the whole story. What will be the consequence of this? And hopefully, they have more secrets uncovered...
