pickAli Smith is a new author for me and wow! It took me a bit to engage with her writing but once I did I was totally absorbed. These short stories are interspersed with beautiful passages about the meanings of libraries. The stories themselves are about books, authors, friendship, death, dreams and ideas - about how things shift and change. Many of them were surprisingly moving. #readharder #womanshortstories #bookriot
