I‘m a big fan of fiction, primarily action and fantasy. My list that I‘ve read only include books beginning in 2020, and I don‘t include audiobooks.

Overall, quite an entertaining book. Again, I will emphasize that I am not usually one to read nonfiction books. But this book enamored me with its many short stories from his life and how he has found connections with God. It was much easier to relate to than your normal Christian theological book.

This book had some good qualities to it. I was very intrigued by all the historical aspects and different things about the Illuminati that was presented. Unfortunately, I was left slightly disappointed to read through the entire book and have picked out early who the villain was and what happens with the weapon. It was a let down because of the built expectations of the evil in the book, only to have the rug ripped out in a anticlimactic reveal.

I am not normally one to read an informational book, but there are great messages in this one. While there is an underlying message of putting others before yourself, Bullard does a nice job of weaving it with other aspects of humility and examples of how it looks in our lives. If you want a better understanding of what true humility looks like, this is a great book to explain it. I never quite grasped it until reading this book.

Once again, stakes are raised in this book. After the previous book set the stage that anything could happen and no one was safe, this became a nail-biter. There were some pretty predictable parts in the story, but Riordan also pulled out some surprises.

Tbh, this book really depressed me. It made me wish I had just stopped with the Heroes of Olympus series because it spoiled a lot of the endings that we were left with. There was good character development throughout it though.
