Only 68 pages in (it's a monster!) but I'm riveted, having a hard time putting it down!

A well written view into a part of history often talked about, but from a new perspective, a new story that's truly amazing. A deeper look into Warsaw and the effects on the war not just to humans, but the animals too. A definite read!
"Talent is a piece of God's shadow, and under that shadow, human stories intersect".
I love reading a book written in 1938 about the future. When he wrote the novel, the United States wasn't in the WWII yet. He calls it the European War. Even in 2086 a kid imagines one day going to the moon, little did he know just 30 years later that would come to fruition. It's fascinating the ideas that he was correct about.
