It was interesting. I wasn‘t sure how it was going to end, but still didn‘t feel surprising. Was also not a huge fan of the writing style. Overall it was a cute story and easy read.

So good. So relatable. I was invested in Queenie‘s journey navigating life while struggling with mental illness. Seeing her learn to accept the love that was around her the whole time, pushed me to take inventory of the relationships in my life.
Such a good book! Oluo provides points the reader can use when typical topics come up when discussing race. She finishes up the book by providing steps the reader can take to further change (outside of discussion).
