|had to read for uni|
Personally, I just couldn't get into this book at all. All the names of people and places just get confusing and I feel like there are better novels from the Irish culture than this one...

So I was a little apprehensive at first as I didn't know what to expect, but I absolutely loved it! Such a great comedy and so funny and cute at the same time. Definitely would recommend for someone looking to read more Shakespeare, it's so light-hearted and fun.
Personally, I don't think this is one of Shakespeare's best plays. For a comedy, it's still a little serious and I found some parts of it a little boring.
I do love Shakespeare but there are other comedies of his that I would recommend before this one.
Something I've been wanting to read for a while but just haven't got around to reading it until now.
Definitely worth watching alongside a DVD version as you understand the jokes a lot more and it's fun to see how people play around with it, but a really good play.
Full of so many comedic lines and characters, definitely made me laugh more than once!
Shakespeare was just so on it 👌🏻
I have so much respect for him and his writing and I'm actually super excited to start writing my dissertation on him! 📖
What's your favourite Shakespeare play/quote?
Then sigh not so/but let them go/ and be you blithe and bonny/converting all your sounds of woe/into hey nonny nonny
Haven't read this yet but super excited to read it when I've finished all my uni reading. Feel like I should start reading more classics and think this would be a good one to make sure is on my list.
Any opinions/suggestions are welcome 🙂
"In this magnificent, deeply moving novel, the stories of Marie-Laure and Werner illuminate the ways, against all odds, people try to be good to one another"
This novel gives the reader the view of two children during the Second World War and is written in a lovely way with each protagonist alternating chapters. Definitely had me hooked and wanting to find out more. It also gives you a new perspective on life and humanity.
Probably one of my favourite books! I absolutely love that it's narrated by Death and the views that he has on people and the world. The ending absolutely broke my heart but it's such a lovely and well written book that I can deal with that.
