I had absolutely no expectations going into this one, I found it rather entertaining and as I neared the end I felt so glad that I finally read it, book 2 is already waiting for me, so I guess I am going on another adventure...

I have seen numerous versions of the movie over the years but have not read the book until now. I was not disappointed, and found it an enjoyable read.

It was ok...the reason I rated it so-so is that it reminded me of Midnight Voices by John Saul and because I found the plot similar it didn't have the effect it might have had upon me if I haven't read Midnight Voices.

I was pleasantly surprised by this book! I never thought I would enjoy a "outlaw" book, goes to show that one is never to old to try something new.
