What can I say? I honestly was very disappointed with David. This book was dull. It has it moments when I thought It was getting better but then...no.

It starts very predictable and fast, I had no time to take my hands off this book. And then it gives a great turn. In my opinion I love fiction when it comes to women in relationships because I believe we sometimes portrait out lives and brains as very normal. This book was a great distraction from finals last semester. I recommend it to someone who needs distraction and loves suspense.
Before reading this book some people told me it was a difficult one. Which I honestly found very light, truthful and hard to live by. In my opinion is a great book that you have to re-read. I loved it and I think we all have to live in the now.
Indeed it helped me to stop caring about useless problems in my daily routine. And it is also easy and fun to read, the way is written it can be a great distraction.
If you speak spanish, you have to read this book. It portraits the way a 15 year old girl becomes a woman in a marriage that wasn't supposed to give her power, where she was treated as an object. It tells the story of a very intelligent yet sensitive woman who gets to choose a different life after turning 30. It is portrait in Mexico's 1920's.
I read this book in 4 days. I couldn't stop. I have to tell you it is very easy to read, no philosophical content. But the fact that Nicholas could capture the love and the struggles that a father has when raising a kid and going through a hard time, that was magical. And the story is sweet, it can make you cry and also it gives hope.
