Nothing better than Julia Quinn on a cold day in PA. I can tell that this will go fast. I just started reading it and 125 pages are gone! The Bridgerton family makes easy to like them.

And, she did it again! Julia Quinn is a genius, period. This book has giving me mixed feelings. The time period when the story happens has to be taken in consideration, but I started hating Benedict, which it was almost an impossible thing. Poor Sophie! So much to be said. I‘m almost finished reading the book. I‘ll be back 😉📚

Brinnyreads So far this is not my favorite either! I still have 150 pages left, but will finish tomorrow or the day after. 5mo

Finding Me: A Memoir | Viola Davis

This book should be a requirement in schools/colleges. The representativity that this biography carries is intangible but in some many ways solid, physical and strong. Viola Davis told her story but she tells the story of so many others “Violas” out there.

I moved to United States almost 7 years ago. I was born and raised in Brazil. English has been my second language since then. It hasn‘t been the easiest journey, especially when I found not so kind people on my way. I‘ve always strived to be better since I arrived to this country. I graduated from my MBA and secured a dream job. But, once a while I commit some mistakes. I am taking this book all in, and hoping to learn even more about!

Champagne on Vice | Victoria Weyland
Pickpick

At first I was confused, the magical part was overwhelming, but shortly, the characters took shape, the plot became very interesting, and the message was simply wonderful. Victoria Weyland is a genius. She really delivered the erotic genre. However, she balanced out the explicit sex with the plot all about love, respect, and consent.Anyone will fall in love with Mattie and Daniel, and the Variety House.
Thank you Wild Rose Press for this ARC !

This book will be pub in April 25th
Wren and Anders were both trying to find themselves when they met. Wren had a strong opinion about relationships, specially because her parents got divorced due to her dad‘s unfaithfulness and she just got dumped by her fiancé. Anders were still in love with his ex, not so ex, -wife. The plot guides the reader through their relationship and raise questions that anyone thought they always have known the answers.

This is the first 2023 book of my book club. I always wanted to create a book club to call my own. Last year I talked to some friends from Brazil and they accepted the challenge. It has been a great journey with them! I am starting this one tonight! Can‘t wait to see what Matt Haig has done! #bookclub

My husband got this book for me after I got obsessed with Big Little Lies. I am new in the mystery/thriller reading world. I am not a big fan of the genre for movies or tv shows but want to give it a try for books. I‘m starting it tonight, but probably will change it to be my during the day reading.

I am my best self when I am reading a book. I wonder if there is someone else out there who feels the same way. Books liberate me. Books make me feel that I am enough. Books make me feel that I have a purpose. For some, it‘s just paper; for me, it‘s everything.

I‘ve read 200 pages of the #viscountwholovedme and I started it yesterday night 📚👩🏻‍🏫💕

When I think that Julia Quinn wouldn‘t be able to keep the great plot on a second book, oh my lanta! She did it again, and I dare to say “she did it even better”. If you don‘t want to read the book because you have watched the show, do yourself a favor and start it today. I‘m on page 92 and I started it today!

This book was a delight to read. Julia Quinn did an espectacular job writing the narrative. When the family were together we could feel the feeling of a family reunited through the words. We felt for Simon and Daphne. I know there was a passage about “consent” that everyone has been talking about, however I don‘t believe Julia Quinn need to “pronounce” herself about it. It is a book and the book “says” everything for her.

This has been such a beautiful journey. Eleanor grew on me and by the end of the book I wished she was my friend.
