- Witty comebacks
- A girl who doesn't know how to behave around royalty and doesn't particularly care to learn

Absolutely fantastic.

Was wary, but I loved it.

Honestly, it was the last 20 pages that made me really appreciate this book.

But for the first 360 pages, I felt really disconnected from the whole thing. I didn't particularly care about anyone and I wasn't invested.

I'm giving it a higher rating, though, because many people have loved it, and I do understand why. I just wasn't connected.

I have slightly mixed feelings...the main character started off annoying, but eventually the whole story just dragged me in and I stopped caring about my character issues.
Great retelling.

OH MY GOSH GUYS THIS AUTHOR IS AMAZING!
Seriously, this book is just as fantastic as his others and was a great continuation of the Magnus Chase series.
Now I just *really* need the third one.
And the second Trials of Apollo.
