It's nice, light summer reading -- the first of a detective series in which the dog narrates.

Fascinating book. Reads like a science textbook, so it's fairly dense, but truly interesting. And, ultimately, rather sad.

Who can resist a new, true-to-tone Hercule Poirot novel in which Hercule waxes eloquent about correct grammar? Fun read so far.
