Very short, read it over morning commute and lunch break. Full of interesting and fun facts about Hogwarts and I'm so amused by the Muggle plumbing related remark (see picture). Really, Wizards can make their pee and poop disappear? Lmao. They could try helping us with garbage disposal! :p I don't know how much is new material compared to Pottermore but haven't been on the site for years soooo

I will never know what I would have thought of this play if I had read it before I saw it on stage.
But I did see it on stage first and was blown away by every part of it. It was so intense and emotional. Reading it now I can picture it clearly and hear the actors' voices.
I understand the disappointment of some, but my personal rating is based in the whole experience of this play.

Gezemice So lucky to see it in person! 8y

I really enjoyed parts of it but I could never really 100% empathise with the main character. And some things felt unfinished.

Almost reads like a TV show, with a chapter per episode. Loved the diverse characters. Recommended to lovers of the crew as family trope. And if you like to see current, relatable topics, tackled in a sci-fi way (racism, sexuality, gender, elitism, artificial intelligence...)

There are few books I own both in hardcover and audio form but this one is so worth it. The hardcover is just magnificent and I want to pet and hug it forever. The audiobook is the possibility to hear Lin talk about references and inspirations. (Also pictured: brand new work(work!)out tank top)
