Love love love this book! Perfect romance/fantasy read for 18+! Couldn‘t put it down and obviously bought the second and the third straight away and have read all three in a week 🤦‍♀️ the first and third were my favourites with the second being a bit long winded with not much action. Would definitely recommend to older Cassandra Clare fans!

Soo everyone on TikTok has been raving about this book so I thought I‘d give it a go! I have read it in a day as I found the story intriguing and really wanted to see what would happen at the next turn. But, it is clearly written for younger readers and when I was 16/17 I would have loved it, but now it‘s a predictable YA dystopian romance. Will I still read the next book? Probably 😂

This book ended up surprising me! I loved both characters from the tv show and the previous books but I didn‘t enjoy this book as much as I expected to. I don‘t know if it was just the story but I really wasn‘t sold on it. I‘m still loving the books but this one hasn‘t been my favourite so far!

Only went and read it in a day didn‘t I? 🤦‍♀️ safe to say I enjoyed it and would definitely read again. Very addictive and easy to read, already eyeing the next one on my bookshelf!

Yes I am still reading books for 16 year olds, but they are still amazing and this one has delivered on everything Cassandra Clare is known for. It is full of action, suspense and heartbreak and I am already looking forward to the next one! The ending has broken me and I know this book hangover is going to last a few days at least! I also know I will probably have to wait a year for the next one and I don‘t know how I will cope until then!

I‘m actually obsessed with this series now 😂 the third book is already on order straight after finishing this one! Such a good read with all the romance and steamy scenes the tv series promises, after finishing this book I cannot wait for season 2!

Loved this book! Literally finished it in about two days 😂 loved the premise of the flatshare with someone you‘ve never met and the fact that it doesn‘t start out as a romantic story but ends up with a slow burn romance. The characters were individual and different and on the whole a really enjoyable easy to read book perfect for the beach or a chilled evening.

Loved this story! So different and definitely not the standard, predictable love story we‘ve come to expect from the romance genre. I read this after watching the TV series and I was surprised how true to the book the series was. I did find it a bit slow in places, but all in all a romance with something a bit different and a definite pick for those that want romance but without the cliche.

Definitely a good read for those who love murder mystery! There were parts of the book I loved and the way all the stories intertwine was definitely a twist, but on the whole it felt very similar to other books I‘ve read. Overall a good relaxed read for a weekend or holiday.

Just finished re-reading this series for probably the 5th time? They are honestly my all time favourite books! The adventure, the romance and the epilogue at the end of the final book take you on a rollercoaster of emotions from excitement to sadness. Worth a read for young and old alike.
