The Damned | Harper L. Woods
Pickpick

Dark, romantic, and utterly addictive! The Damned pulls you into its sinful world and doesn‘t let go. The third book in the Coven of Bones series is a haunting, seductive ride through the Nine Circles of Hell, where Margot‘s fiery bond with Beelzebub burns with danger and desire. Aiden Snow and Kingsley Rose‘s phenomenal narration brings them to life with raw, emotional intensity. Passion, danger, and redemption intertwined, prepare to be damned.

Showdown at Recess | Lois Wickstrom
Mehso-so

Showdown at Recess teaches kids that bullying is never okay. After winning the race to start the game, the main character stands up to Jojo while the others just watch. Though I‘ve always enjoyed Lois Wickstrom‘s books, this one felt a bit different, “guimpus” puzzled me and part of the story seemed missing. Still it‘s a great read about fairness, courage and handling conflict kindly.

Enjoyed the start to the Elder World Series. Alora‘s journey from guarded to brave, the slow
burn romance with Darce, and the paranormal twists had me invested. That cliffhanger ending left me a little annoyed but wanting to read book 2.

This audiobook collection was a total treat! fun, flirty, and full of paranormal mischief. The narrator nailed the sass, snark, making the humor pop, and the rom-com vibes were perfectly balanced across all three books. Set against the lively backdrop of New Orleans, the stories deliver clever chaos, steamy moments, and sharp banter that had me laughing out loud. Hilarious, heartwarming, and just the right amount of spice.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ In this age gap romance, Beth, a newly divorced mom finds herself having a relationship with Liam, who is twenty years younger than her and a friend of her son‘s. This book is a slow burn with some spice. It shows that fate and the heart want what they want. The ending where
tragedy strikes, did NOT make me happy. Talk about a curveball!
