The Stand | Stephen King

So I made it to chapter 19 tonight and according to my Kindle (I own multiple copies) I am 15% through the book. So far I am really liking the story and how it is unfolding. Really wishing I could stay up later to read but alas I have work in the morning so off to bed I go!

Got to read 5 chapters of this plus a chapter of my other textbook and all I can think about is how I don't really want to do homework and would like to do anything else....oh well last semester and I will have my associate's degree in business administration.

Been a slow week for reading for me, but got to chapter 16 of The Stand. Still a long ways to go but I am still enjoying this story. Also as a side note I started watching "Sweet Tooth" on Netflix and its weird but good so far. Any thoughts?

I listened to this on audiobook. And it was wonderful. The story just captures you as it unfolded.

It kept me on my toes, I cried at some parts and I laughed at some. This book keeps you guessing no matter what.

Listening to this book and cant help and think this is what Peter Pan would be like if the Darling siblings were on Captain Hook's side.

Mehso-so

The boy who.never grew up and the adventures of the Darling siblings. As a child I loved this story as my father loves to read it to us but as an adult and a mother all I wanted to pull Peter into my arms so he could know a mother's love.

This wonderfully written book takes you on an incredible journey as you go through daily life in India. You follow long with Lakshmi as she works and struggles to live her life as she wants in 1950s India. You are fully sucked into the emotional journey she goes on as she navigates the upper society to not only make a name for herself but a place to call her own. While I was reading this I could close my eyes and see myself in India.

This audio collection follows the adventures of Sherlock and Waston as they solve mysteries all over England. The stories follow the order they were published so sometimes seems like they are out of order but they aren't. Stephen Fry is the narrator and does a wonderful job bringing Sherlock to life as he reads.

This book was interesting as it introduced me to the Murder Bot. It is not only sarcastic but has some dry humor in it.
